We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy, and this Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA").
This Policy applies solely to information collected through the App and does not apply to any information collected through other applications, websites, or offline means, unless expressly stated. CleanWise is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App performs 100% on-device processing — all scanning, analysis, and detection of duplicates, similar photos, and other media happens entirely on your iPhone. Your photos, videos, and contacts are never uploaded to any external server.

The free version of CleanWise displays rewarded video advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ad providers may collect and use certain information (including device identifiers, usage data, and interaction events) to deliver contextual or personalized ads based on your activity and device characteristics.
This data is collected and processed directly by Google under their own privacy policies. Apps4IOS does not control how this data is used or retained once shared with the ad network.

Apps4IOS shall not be held responsible or liable under any circumstances for any unauthorized access, data breach, system compromise, data loss, or corruption, whether arising from technical failure, software defects, bugs, malfunctions, human error, malicious activity, device failure, operating system issues, third-party software conflicts, or any other cause whatsoever.
When you delete photos or videos through CleanWise, they are moved to iOS's "Recently Deleted" album, where they remain recoverable for a limited time period (as determined by Apple and your iOS settings) before being permanently deleted by the operating system.
Important - Contacts: Unlike photos and videos, contacts deleted through CleanWise are permanently and immediately deleted. iOS does not provide a "Recently Deleted" folder for contacts. Once deleted, contacts cannot be recovered through the App or iOS. You are solely responsible for backing up your contacts before deletion.

Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored scan results and history. Your photos, videos, and contacts remain in their respective system locations (Photos app, Contacts app) and are not affected by uninstalling CleanWise.

The App may use cookies or similar technologies through third-party services (such as Google AdMob) to enhance functionality and deliver relevant advertising in the free version. These technologies may collect device information and usage data. You can manage your preferences in your device settings or through Google's ad personalization controls.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Apps4IOS shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the App, including but not limited to:

In no event shall the total liability of Apps4IOS exceed the amount you have paid to Apps4IOS for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ten US dollars ($10.00), whichever is greater.
By using the App, you expressly acknowledge and agree that all risk related to your data and use of the App remains solely with you. You understand that the App may contain bugs, errors, or defects, and you accept this risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apps4IOS, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Apps4IOS does not warrant that:

By using the App, you assume all risks associated with data loss, accidental deletion, software defects, and any other consequences arising from your use of the App.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, user information, including any Personal Data, may be transferred to the acquiring entity. Apps4IOS will require such entity to honor this Privacy Policy or provide materially equivalent protections.
If Apps4IOS becomes aware of a data breach that compromises any personal data held, Apps4IOS will notify affected users and, where applicable, regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable data protection laws. However, given the minimal data collection and on-device processing approach, the risk of such breaches is significantly reduced.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or relating to this Privacy Policy shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiations. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of arbitration applicable in Lebanon. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lebanon for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or your use of the App.
Apps4IOS shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Privacy Policy due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, pandemics, cyberattacks, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, labor disputes, or any other event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or prevented.
Apps4IOS does not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will continue to be available indefinitely. Apps4IOS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. Apps4IOS shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
Apps4IOS may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. Users are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy for any updates. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
